About Peptodio
Peptodio is an independent peptide information hub. We publish explainers on what peptides are and how they are studied, summaries of published research, and first-hand notes from our own amateur self-experimentation.
Who writes this
Peptodio is written and maintained by a small independent team publishing under the name Peptod. We are enthusiasts, not clinicians, not researchers, and not affiliated with any university, laboratory, or regulatory body. Nobody here holds a medical, pharmacy, or biochemistry credential, and we will not pretend otherwise. When you read something on this site, you are reading the work of interested amateurs who read the literature and document their own experience.
How we source content
- Research summaries are based on published, publicly accessible studies. Where a claim comes from a specific study, we say so in the article.
- Most peptide research we cite is preclinical — cell cultures or animal models. We try to be explicit when a finding has not been tested in humans, because that distinction is usually the whole story.
- Experiment reports are personal accounts of what we did and what we observed. They are anecdotes with a sample size of one. They are not evidence that anything works.
- Every article carries a published date and a last-updated date so you can judge how current it is.
What this site is not
- Not medical advice. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a recommendation to use any substance. Talk to a qualified clinician about your own health.
- Not a store. We do not sell peptides or any other product, hold stock, or handle payments or shipping.
- Not impartial about one vendor. Some articles link to AminoClub, and we earn a commission if you buy through those links at no extra cost to you. It does not change what we write — see our affiliate disclosure.
- Not a vendor directory. We do not rank or review suppliers, and we have not tested anyone's purity claims.
- Not a protocol. We do not publish instructions telling you what to take or how to administer it.
Corrections
We get things wrong. If you find an error — a misread study, a stale figure, a claim stated more confidently than the evidence supports — tell us and we will fix the article and update its last-updated date. Corrections that change the substance of an article are noted in the text rather than quietly swapped in.
